My Best Decision

One of the best decisions I ever made was to only be positive online.

Keeping it has been harder than you might imagine…

There are plenty of people who relish the opportunity to criticize, insult, belittle, or simply rant. Many of these people are well-meaning; it is possible to criticize a leader or organization in an effort to provoke better behaviors.

But negativity is a crowded space, and I saw no reason to enter it.

The only thing that keeps me from straying into negativity is my conscious decision to be positive. There have been dozens of times when something frustrated me and I sat down to write about it. A couple of times, I let the article slip through, but 95% of the time, I delete these files.

Have you made—or are you willing to make —a conscious decision to be positive?
